Al Shoumoukh Group a leading company manufactures a wide range of tools and equipment for oil and gas drilling and production and other products used in the energy sector including a variety of pipes and valves and chemical blending. Now company hiring an Accountant to fill the available vacancy. Job Description: • Processes financial documents and data in an efficient and timely manner. • Ensures reliability and integrity of financial reporting and management information systems for the department, ensuring that appropriate segregation of duties, access and controls are managed within the system. • Processes initial purchase, capital calls, distributions, sales and equity adjustments for various limited partnerships including the verification of funds received and the request for money movements/wires for capital calls on an ongoing basis. • Conducts month-end and year-end close process by completing technical accounting process, ensuring adequate reconciliations from the general ledger to the management information system and to source data are completed and documented. • Prepares journal entries and completes monthly account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts. • Ensures that all suppliers’ accounts are fully reconciled periodically. • Responsible for the preparation of related party reconciliations and the resolution of outstanding matters. • Prepares supporting schedules and documentation for internal and external financial statement audits. • Provides cover for the preparation, validation and submission of monthly and quarterly VAT returns
