DMCC is looking for talented young Emiratis to join the Graduate Development Programme ‘Almas’, which is designed for fresh graduates to support them take their first step in their career by joining a twelve-month paid training programme starting in July 2018. 

Successful candidates will be placed in departments relevant to their education and will be trained to gain comprehensive understanding of the DMCC business areas.
The Graduate Trainee will support the efforts of the DMCC management in their strategic as well as day to day roles and to deliver projects independently as well as within teams. The Graduate Trainee will also work towards the delivery of service objectives whilst gaining experience for a career in their chosen field. 

The key objectives for the Graduate Trainees during this programme will be, but not limited to: 

• Work under the supervision of senior employees and may be asked to do research work for the company. 
• Develop competencies in communication, customer service and commercial awareness 
• Attend all their training classes which give them basic information about various sectors of the company such as management, finance, free zone operations, etc. 
• Learn time management requirements when working with individual employees or teams 
• Learn the elements of and assist in the execution of specific tasks related to the assigned department 
• Gain substantial knowledge in DMCC’s activities i.e., free zone, commodities, property. 
• Develop planning, organizational and time management skills. 
• Increase knowledge of computer skills and technology. 
• Develop team-based work competencies. 
• Develop interpersonal skills in order to communicate with others in the workplace.

To be considered for the program you should meet the following requirements: 

Education: 
Bachelor’s degree holder preferably in IT, Finance, International Business, Business Administration, Marketing and Communications (graduated within the last 2 years) with a GPA of 2.5 and higher. 

Experience: 
Up to 2 years’ experience
