Mechanical Package Manager – Dubai 
Our client, an energy company, is looking to hire a Mechanical Package Manager to be based in Dubai.
 
Please note: The successful candidate must come from a solar PV background.
 
Job Summary 

• The Mechanical Package Manager (Mechanical PM) reports to the Project Director (PD) or Senior PM, and is accountable within the mechanical work package for:
  • Following the tender strategy and evaluation under the supervision of the PD or Senior PM during the selection of suppliers and contractors.
  • Supporting the PD and Steering Committee (SC) during contract negotiations with suppliers and contractors, including the preparation of documents required for the procurement and purchasing process.
  • Performing due diligence of suppliers and contractors in coordination with the PD.
  • HSE compliance, including the management of any permits.
  • Contract management for suppliers, contractors and consultants within their package, including the interfaces between those contracts. With the involvement of the PD, the PD shall resolve and coordinate the interfaces between the different work packages.
  • Compliance with the Project Budget.
  • Compliance with the Project Schedule
  • Compliance with the Project Cash Flow
  • Compliance with the Quality and Inspection procedures
  • Responsible for maintaining the Project Documentation with the support of the document controller.
