Shamal Travels Ltd, subsidiary of the Shamal Group is looking TRAINEE Travel Consultants. The candidates will be working alongside senior travel consultants at our Quatre Bornes Main Office. Apart from processing queries, quotes, requests and handling customers, candidate must be willing to learn and undergo training. If candidate acheives satisfactory performance over an assigned period of time a permanent position will be offered. 

Candidate will be expected to achieve a series of short and long term goals and must achieve measurable discipline , sales and service targets.

Minimum academic & non academic Requirements:

•Higher School Certificate with good results. 

•IATA Foundation/Diploma or equivalent. [Or currently undergoing IATA Ticketing  or similar trainings] 

OR

•Diploma or Degree in "Travel & Tourism". 

•Residing in the region of Plaine Wilhems, Moka, Port Louis, Curepipe

•Additional qualifications will also be considered. 

Experience, Track Record & Age:

•Above 19 Years Old.

Other requirements:

•Outgoing personality with a creative and innovative approach to travel.

•Acceptable level of written and spoken English and French.

•Willing to work odd hours & proven ability to work in a team.

•Fast learner and IT literate.

•Self motivated and strong ability to achieve targets.

•Ambitious and willing to work odd hours and weekends.

•Candidate must be willing to commute to other locations for training purposes.
